With a state-of-the-art facility on the North side of Holland and a talented team of craftsman and designers, Benchmark Wood & Design Studios provides discerning clients with complete architectural and interior design services alongside expert craftsmanship in the fabrication of custom cabinetry, millwork, and furniture.

Current employment opportunities include a Skilled Wood Finisher. This position requires a quality individual who takes pride in their work and is looking to grow long term with a company. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Employee will be responsible for all aspects of the finish process including cleaning, sanding, prepping, caulking, staining, wiping, brushing & spraying.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

· Minimum four years woodworking and/or sanding experience.

· Knowledge of industry standard finishes and finish processes.

· Thorough understanding of lacquer, urethane and oil based finish systems.

· Experience with various spray technologies including Airless, HVLP, Gravity fed cup guns and pressure pots.

· Color matching experience.

· Ability to see the project parts at close range while sanding & finishing.

· Team player who follows directions well.

· Critical thinker and problem solver.

· Experience in standard quality control practices.
